Klima im Taunus

    i think it´s really interesting. the biggest problem i see is the shipping of the parts to germany, what would be not cheap. the other problem is the freon12. if i can get it here in germany and find somebody who would fill the system i would use it. i wouldn´t care about it´s forbidden.


    on the other hand it would be interesting if it´s a big problem to change our normal air-boxes or if it´s necessary to use some of these airboxes form turkey...

    Freon 12 krig ich hier zu Spottpreisen - Problem ist das Zeugs nach Europa zu befoerderen, da es sich zum einen um ein hoch verdichtetes Gas und zum anderen um eine mittlerweile verbotene Substanz handelt...


    Wenn, dann wuerde ich sagen - einen neuen Kompressor von Vintageair, den Rest des gesocks von nem Schlachter vom Schrotti ( muss ja nicht unbedingt ein Ford sein - nur Abmessungen muessen halt so passen, oder passbar gemacht werden und das Steuerteil fuers Armaturenbrett aus Kleinasien....) und schon haben wir violá eine aircon in der Taune.

    the normal air-boxes have only one slot for hot radiator, I think you can not create an extra slot in this box for the climate cooling radiator, also you need to open or close the hot and cold radiator air flow by the help of the flaps or etc. I think, it's difficul to do with the standard box, but not impossible :)


    The a/c climate box of mine has two flaps in the box. One of them is for closing the hot radiator air flow and one of them is for the circulation of the cold air in the car (to prevent the outside air come into the cooling radiator). This second flap is very useful, because when the a/c is on after sometime the air in the car gets cool and if you need to lower temperature more, you can circulate the cold air through the climate, by this way you can use the a/c efficiently, and your compressor needs to work less to cool the air (healthful for the compressor, motor power and fuel consumption). Those mentioned flaps all work on a pneumatic system in my car. The source for the pneumatic system is manifold vacuum.


    Yeah, all of them is a good idea, and I've look at the web site, and I think those are good alternatives, but what are the prices?

    was spricht denn gegen eine Granada Klimaanlage? Ich weiss jetzt nicht genau, wie der Heizungskasten aussieht, aber der Klimakompressor wird bei den V6-Modellen ohne weiteres passen. Da hätte man nichteinmal Probleme mit den Halterungen. Desweiteren wird der Kondensator mit dem Verdampfer vor den eigentlichen Kühler geschraubt, also lediglich für etwas Platz vor dem normalen Kühler sorgen (wenn nicht sogar schon genügend vorhanden).


    Ich finde die ganze Sache wirklich interessant, jedoch sollte man sich auf Teile aus Deutschland beschränken. Selbst wenn man jemanden findet, der einem alles ausbaut und verschickt (was ich nicht glaube), sind die Kosten immernoch sehr hoch. Eine Granada-Klimaanlage lässt sich jedoch sicherlich mit genausoviel Arbeit anpassen, die Teile sind aber alle greifbar und zu bezahlen.


    Kann mir jemand ein Bild vom normalen Heizungskasten zeigen/machen?
    Ich kann Euch Bastlern anbieten, eine Granada-Klimaanlage zum "Probestecken" auszuleihen. Ich habe zwei komplette Klimaanlagen liegen (Achtung, das soll jetzt kein versteckter Verkaufsversuch werden!!!). So könntet Ihr ganz schnell sehen, ob das mit den Granada-Teilen Sinn machen würde oder nicht. Für mich wäre das der erste logische Versuch anstatt da über Teile aus der Türkei nachzudenken. Ganz ehrlich ...

    ich hab auch noch nen kompressor und klima kühler.allerdings von nem scorpio V6.ist ja aber der gleiche motor.wollt eigentlich auch klima einbauen aber mir wurde abgeraten,da die alten klimas stinken und nicht die welt sind.ob was dran ist,weiss ich nicht allerdings hatte ich in meinem omega auch ne klima und hatte sie nie an,da ich durch das ding kopfweh bekam und immer krank wurde.


    wer aber interesse an meinem zeug hatt,ich geb es gerne für wenig ab.sonst hau ichs mal bei ebay rein....

    weiss aber noch nicht ob genuegden Zeit - mach mal einen Preis - hatte noch keinen Granni deshalb keine Ahnung wie das Dingens aussieht.


    VintageAir deshalb weil die einen verdammt guten Namen haben ( d.h. ueberall empfohlen werden ) und sicher billiger sind als der Boschdienst und man einen state of the art Kompressor bekommt, d.h. neu und nicht schon 20 Jahre alt und was weiss ich wie lange irgendwo rumlag.


    Ich gebe lieber am Anfang ein bisschen mehr Geld aus um dann nacher nicht noch lange am alten Gesocks rumbasteln zu muessen - dafuer habe ich einfach keine Zeit mehr.

    Ich denke aber auch, dass wenn das jemand macht, es einfacher wäre die Teile hier in Deutschland zu suchen. Besonders wegen der Kosten schon. Für mich kommt das sowieso erstmal nicht in Frage weil ich einfach nicht die Kohle und Zeit habe. :(


    I think also, that if somebody wants to realize it, it would be simplier to search for components here in Germany. Especially because of the costs. For me it´s anyway not a question because i didn´t dispose about the dosh and the money for it :(

    @John: Dann komm doch einfach mal bei mir vorbei und dann machen wir eine kleine Runde mit meinem anderen Granada. Danach wird sich das mit dem "nichts bringen" und "stinken" sehr schnell erledigen.


    Viele vergessen, das die Klimaanlage genauso gewartet werden muss wie jedes andere Fahrzeugteil auch. Die alten Klimaanlagen bringen in der Regel nichts, weil die Klimaanlagen nicht gefüllt sind bzw. zuwenig Kühlmittel in der Anlage drin ist. Genauso ist´s mit dem Trockner aus. Der muss, genau wie das Kühlmittel, regelmässig ausgetauscht werden


    Aber grundsätzliches:


    Gerade auf dem Rückweg von Hagen habe ich gemerkt, wie geil Frischluft auch sein kann. Ausstellfenster hinten raus, vorne beide Fenster runter und los. Besseres Klima zum Cruisen gibt es doch garnicht. Auch wenn der Umbau geht ist doch der Aufwand im Vergleich zum Nutzen doch sehr, sehr gering ...

    du hast sicher recht,was meine vorurteile angeht.doch ich bin da wie du.lieber fenster auf,geile musik rein und das "angeberlevel" steigt um einiges mehr als bei klima :O


    mal im ernst,ich mach die klima immer auf sehr kalt und ehe ich mich versehe,bin ich krank.ich lass das mal lieber....

    Bin vor 12 Jahren durch Florida gecruist - aircon auf die hoechste Stufe gestellt - als ich aus dem Wagen ausstieg hat es mir beinahe die Fuesse unterm Ar... weggezogen... Hatte irgendwie was mit dem abrupten Temperaturwechsel und nicht genuegend Wasser im Koerper zu tun.
